Whalley Golf Club Men’s Captains Away Day (Ben Graves)
The 2024 Men’s Captains Away Day at Keighley Golf Club was a resounding success, with current Captain Ben Graves leading a day filled with fantastic golf and even better company.
The course was in great condition and the weather couldn’t have been better, staying dry with pockets of sunshine, allowing everyone to fully appreciate the stunning yet challenging layout. The day concluded with a cracking meal and a prize-giving ceremony that had everyone in high spirits, especially Ryan Fisher, who won the Singles competition with an impressive 40 points – a very well done and well-deserved victory.
Looking ahead to next season, Arron Ripley steps into the spotlight as Captain-in-waiting and he announced Morgan Whipp as the future Captain to follow in his footsteps.
By the end of the day, it was clear that Keighley had left its mark, with everyone already buzzing about the next Captains Away Day!
